The brand new addiction of the Harry Potter World

After PokemonGo, the gaming community is fueled by yet another location based augmented reality mobile game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. Developed by Warner Brother games and published by Niantic, the game specifically targets the Harry Potter fans, popularly known as “Potterheads”.  The game is release after two years of its first ever announcement made at a special event held at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Studios in Hollywood.

The game’s adventure and movement are pretty much the same like Pokemon Go, with the added benefit of a personalized Ministry ID and added animations on the virtual map. Although the camera rotation is not very smooth, we still see enthusiastic potterheads take this magical journey with uttermost excitement. Under the Portkey Games label, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite remains true to the vision of the best seller’s author, J.K. Rowling and the values at the heart of original story.

Rolling in about 150 countries, the game was released on June 21st, 2019 for the audience. The Harry Potter themed game is available for free and can be available from Apple App store, Goggle play store and Samsumg Galaxy store as well.

“I have been in the potterhead community for almost 9 years now, I am not into video games so much but I still play this game regularly from the day it was released. The thing that most excites me about it is the hope to meet more and more people who share my love for Harry Potter”, says one of the users of the newly released game. Similar to Pokemon Go, we see that the main aim of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is not just profits and revenue, but also to unite and send sparks in potterhead community, just like its name.
